Inspired by the traditions of backyard cookouts, neighbourhood gatherings, and family reunions, this one-day festival brings people together through unforgettable experiences that celebrate the diversity of our community.
Throughout the day you’ll discover live cooking demonstrations, hands-on family activities, interactive cultural experiences, incredible local entertainment, and an evening celebration that closes out the summer in true Cookout fashion.

Momma’s Table: Recipes & Roots A Taste of The Cookout
Food has always been about more than what’s on the plate. Momma’s Table: Recipes & Roots is an intimate culinary experience where local chefs prepare dishes inspired by their upbringing while sharing the memories, traditions, and cultural influences behind every recipe.
Guests won’t just watch a cooking demonstration—they’ll experience the stories that make every dish meaningful.
Each presentation includes:

Chef D and Chef Vanessa Simone will each prepare one of their signature dishes, with freshly prepared tasting plates available while supplies last.
Families can also register children for Momma’s Cookie Club with Chef Rochelle Williams, a FREE interactive cookie decorating experience featuring DIY cookie kits and a live decorating demonstration.

Family memories are made together.
Momma’s Family Village is designed to ensure children and families have just as much fun as everyone else.
Throughout the day, families can enjoy interactive games, creative activities, hands-on experiences, and engaging programming that encourages learning, imagination, and play.
From decorating cookies with award-winning pastry chef Rochelle Williams to discovering exciting activities throughout the village, there’s always something happening for our youngest festival-goers.
Momma’s Family Village creates a welcoming space where families can connect, explore, and celebrate together.
